After over 10 years of gradual expansion we have outgrown our previous home in Lincoln’s Inn, and have relocated into fully renovated and refurbished premises at 42 Bedford Row.  
 
42 Bedford Row boasts state-of-the-art conference facilities, a mediation suite, and a seminar suite with capacity for 70 delegates, together with the space and facilities to continue our policy of measured expansion.

R(Weaver) v London & Quadrant, [2008] EWHC 1377 (Admin), DC

On 24 June 2008 the Divisional Court held that housing associations are amenable to judicial review. Matthew Hutchings represented the tenant in this test case, led by Richard Drabble QC, 30 years after our head of chambers, Ben Hytner QC, first argued the point in Peabody Housing Association v Green.

Re G (Adoption) [2008] EWCA Civ 105(2)

In this case, in which Richard Beddoe represented the local authority, the Court of Appeal ruled that in adoptions of UK children to foreign countries, the confirmation required by the Adoptions with a Foreign Element Regulations 2005  that the child was or would be authorised to enter and remain in the foreign country was to be provided by the foreign adoption agency, not the foreign immigration authorities.
